Super close to “real” pasta I’ve tried a few different brands of different types of gluten-free pasta, and Barilla definitely tastes the most like “real” pasta. With other brands, it’s entirely edible, but I absolutely need tomato sauce on it, because the pasta itself has a slightly unpleasant taste to it. I used to love eating spaghetti with only salted butter on it, but after I could no longer eat gluten, I really missed the taste of that plain dish. Fantastic pasta, a virtually indistinguishable replacement for standard wheat-based offerings Man, is this stuff good. For health reasons, my wife is on the FODMAP diet (avoiding foods with a tendency to ferment), and wheat is a big no-no. The verdict on this pasta is a good one ! This is a yummy Gluten-Free pasta. We eat a lot of Gluten-free products and in my Italian family, that means LOTS of pasta. Going GF for health reasons was a tough adjustment for our family. Not all of us have made the switch, but those who have Ceiiac have no choice. The verdict on this pasta is good!
