Bought it because it was required for a college class. I disliked it because it contained a lot of claims that are not backed by evidence and either don’t mention studies or arguments about topics the authors clearly favor. For example, the authors talk about blueberries and fish oil like they are the greatest discovery of the 21st Century. My overall impression of this textbook is that it’s more pseudoscience and “nutrition fad” than actual evidence-based nutrition education. I…
