More than Just a Diet Book The Advanced Mediterranean Diet is a great book and I can not recommend it highly enough for those looking for a change in the way they live their lives. The Advanced Mediterranean Diet is more than just a “diet” book, it provides detailed explanations of human physiology, explains in great detail the impact of different foods on the body. Good basic knowledge about dieting, not so much Mediterranean I first found Dr. Parker on the internet. I really liked his website, so I bought the book. Everything he talks about in the general sense of dieting is great. He talks in a common sense way that pulls the information you have heard about how to lose weight into an easy read. After all that, I’m still not sure where the Mediterranean way of eating comes into play. Not much in the way of recepiesto work with.
