Bad quality control Their rice ramen used to be a wonderful product – I heartily second the previous reviews based on the companies old formula. It now basically turns to rubbery, gooey stuff that is very unappetizing. Several weeks ago, we bought three packages of their millet and brown rice. All three were terrible, so we contacted the company, and they promptly sent us one replacement package, assuring us that they’d had no other complaints. Weird gloppy mess… These were on sale at Whole Foods, so I decided to give them a go. I’m a fan of traditional ramen noodles, but why not take the healthier route when given the choice? (So they are 3x as much as regular ramen. Can we really put a price on better health? At least that’s the rationale.)I prepared the noodles according to package directions, going so far as to set a timer rather than winging it like I usually do. It didn’t go well.
