A 600 kilometre bicycle tour of China in 1982, inspired the author to write a delicious “Pritikin Style” Chinese cookbook. “So many people said to me they were thrilled with the health benefits of the Pritikin eating plan, but regretted having to “give up” Chinese food. After much experimentation I created Pritikin style authentic Chinese food – the same tasty flavours – but without the harmful dietary effects.”
